Ingredients | Honey Ginger Tea Bags

1 ½ cups water

½ lemon, juiced

1 tablespoon peeled and chopped fresh ginger root

1 teaspoon loose green tea

1 teaspoon honey, or to taste (Optional)

Directions

Bring water to a boil. Add lemon juice and ginger; simmer for 3 minutes. Strain into a tea cup.

Pack a tea infuser with tea leaves; place in the hot water and let steep, 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in honey.

If you have whole dried green tea leaves, you may just drop them in.
